Design Team Projects

I don't think I have announced this yet, but I am officially on the design team for my local scrapbook store, Cropportunities (Marshfield, Wisconsin). This month was the starting month for projects. We were required to make one layout..... but who can do just one??? Not me. The more time I spend in my craft room, the less time I need to spend reading my 15 chapters for my classes this semester.

So I was given two designer papers by Moxxie, from teh Blessed collection. This is a very cute baby collection. I love the colors, and cute animals!! I was also given a 6 x 12 sheet of coordinating cardstock stickers....... which were very cute as well.

This first layout is an 8 x 8 page The DP is Baby Shower (Moxxie's Blessed Collection). I loved the cute purple sticker. I mounted it on a white square of CS to give it more presence and then added small silver brads as well (MM). If you can see in the first photo, I put a silver pin through the knot on ribbon to give it more of a baby diaper feel. I really liked how this layout turned out. I would put a picture (probably black and white) of a baby girl sleeping, arms stretched above the head.

For the scrapbookers that think they cannot make cards... here are two very simple, elegant cards made with DP and CS stickers. Same Moxxie's line, however the DP on the first card is Nursery.

Now for my 12 x 12 page I made. The base is Bazzill CS. I used again the Nursery DP from Moxxie's Blessed Collection. I also used some of the coordinating CS stickers as well. For added dimension and embellishement, I covered 3, 2 x 3 pieces of chipboard with green Bazzill paper, punched them with my Cropodile, added large silver brads, and then adhered them with dimensinals. Also, on the ribbon, I added a strip of CS sticker to add a little extra there too. Again, I really liked the layout. The chipboard elements would be a great place to add the date of the photos, and a brief "what" as well.
