A Good Friday!!

I actually spent time in my craft room yesterday. I got to make three cards. The first card was for the Limited Supplies challenge on SCS. We were to only use circle tools. I used my Sugar Memory Box DSP. I really love this series of papers. It is fresh and fun. This is probably the most amount of DSP I have used on a card. I normally just hoard the paper and am reluctant to use it. I am getting over that thought ;)

I also spent some time surfing the blogs. I like the beginning of the month when PTI does there design team challenges. I actually had time to look at all the blogs and ideas. What a creative group of crafters!!! On Taylor VanBruggen's blog she does a cupcake sketch challenge. I love sketch challenges. I am not much of a cupcake girl (I know what a shame) so I was trying to think what sweet I like. I came up with strawberries.......... I can't wait to go picking!! So I used strawberries instead of cupcakes in the sketch. I also love simple cards so I simplified the sketch (taking out some layers). I love the way red and white pop too!! So, that is where this card came from.

The next card was for Amy Rysavy's sketch challenge. I modified the measurements some but the overall layout is the same. I used all PTI materials. I love the Shapes by Designs stamp set....... so versitile. Again used some DSP...... but this is the Pink Patterns from PTI........... LOVE IT TOO!!!! I am so into PTI lately. That is where I spend most if not all of my crafting dollars. My hubby asked me if I wanted anything for Mother's Day......... yeah the new PTI release for May! Don't know what it will be but I am sure they are must have colors, stamps and papers. Anyone else fallin' in love with PTI???
